Vineyard and terroir
The grapes grow in the estate's own vineyards at 280 m above sea level. The vines are 16 years old on average.

Sangiovese Grosso.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand into small 15 kg baskets. They are vinified in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 28–30 °C for 20–25 days.
Ageing
The wine ages for six months in large Slavonian oak barrels.
