Vineyard and terroir
The vineyards lie in Entiklar and Kurtatsch at 230–350 metres above sea level. They face southeast and have chalky, loamy alluvial soils containing gravel. The vines average around 50 years of age, with a planting density of 3,500–7,000 vines per hectare.
Vinification
Fermentation takes place in stainless-steel tanks, with maceration in large oak casks.
Ageing
The wine matures for eight months in old oak barrels.
