Questo vino
Vineyard and terroir
The fruit comes from steep, southeast-facing terraced vineyards in Alto Adige, at elevations of 300–500 m above sea level. The soils are limestone and clay with a covering of pebbles.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested entirely by hand. After crushing, the must remains briefly in contact with the skins before pressing. Fermentation takes place in small stainless-steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 18 °C.
Ageing
The wine matures in small stainless-steel tanks for at least six months.
Tasting profile
Deep and aromatic.
Label / history
“Selida” means “small farm” in an old local dialect. The name pays tribute to the thousand-year-old culture of small landowners associated with the Tramin cooperative.
