Questo vino
Vineyard and terroir
The Glera comes from Veneto, while the Nerello Mascalese is grown on the volcanic slopes of Mount Etna in Sicily.
Vinification
After careful sorting, the Nerello Mascalese grapes are gently pressed to preserve pure fruit flavours without extracting excessive tannins. Fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature. Secondary fermentation follows in sealed autoclaves for three months using the Charmat method.
Ageing
Before release, the wine rests in bottle, rounding and harmonising the palate.
Tasting profile
Elegant and light in structure, with fine bubbles, lively fruit and berry notes, aromatic freshness and a refreshing, harmonious palate.
Serving and pairing
Suitable as an aperitif or with light snacks and seafood. Long-stemmed glasses help maintain its temperature and display its aromas.
Label / history
Created through a collaboration between Valdo and New York designer Ceci Johnson.
