Questo vino
Vineyard and terroir
The vines grow only in the warmer southern reaches of Valle Isarco, at 420–800 m above sea level. Sunshine, altitude, climate and porphyry soils contribute to the fruit’s aromatic character, minerality and well-defined flavour.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand and gently pressed, then fermented under controlled temperature conditions.
Ageing
The wine rests on its fine lees in stainless-steel tanks, preserving freshness, purity and delicate aromas.
Tasting profile
Aromas of white fruit and a distinctive Burgundian character accompany subtle minerality. The palate is rich and well defined, with a clear, elegant character.
Label / history
Weissburgunder literally means “white Burgundy” and is the local name for Pinot Bianco.
