Questo vino
Vineyard and terroir
The Pinot Nero is grown on the estate's vineyards at 250–390 m above sea level, on clay-limestone soils.
Vinification
Harvest takes place in the last ten days of September. The must undergoes a short maceration before fermentation. Fermentation is carried out in truncated cone-shaped oak vats, and malolactic fermentation follows in French oak barrels.
Ageing
The wine ages in oak barriques for 8–10 months. After bottling it rests a further 4–6 months in the winery's cellars.
Tasting profile
Elegant.
