Questo vino
Vineyard and terroir
The wine comes from Avellino, with Tufo and Torrioni identified as its production area. The grapes grow on sun-exposed terraces, an arrangement that encourages a balance between aroma and acidity. Predominantly volcanic and sandy soils contribute a mineral character.
Grapes
Greco di Tufo.
Vinification
The grapes undergo soft pressing and static settling of the must. Fermentation takes place at 12–14°C, followed by lees bâtonnage, cold stabilization and filtration.
Tasting profile
Brilliant straw yellow. The fresh, fragrant bouquet combines tropical fruit—particularly pineapple—with Golden Delicious apple and floral notes. The palate has pronounced savouriness and a pleasant line of acidity.
Serving and pairing
Serve at 10–12°C. Suitable throughout a meal, particularly with hot or cold seafood appetizers, raw fish—especially shellfish—and vegetable-based first courses.
