The white grapes are grown in the Prosecco area.
Vinification
The grapes are gently pressed in a pneumatic press. After initial settling, the must is transferred to temperature-controlled tanks and held there until required. It is then blended with water and natural flavourings, carbonated in pressure tanks and bottled.
Tasting profile
The aroma is pleasantly fruity, while the palate is delicate and fresh.
Label / history
La Gioiosa Etamorosa belongs to the Moretti Polegato family, owners of Villa Sandi, who have continued their winemaking traditions for three generations. The name derives from Treviso’s historic description as “Marca gioiosa et amorosa,” meaning “a joyful and beloved place.” Once called the “garden of Venice,” the region supplied Venice with fruit and vegetables.
La Gioiosa 0.0% received a bronze medal at the 2024 International Wine & Spirit Competition.
