Vineyard and terroir
The grapes come from the Abruzzo Region, among the hills around Bolognano. The vineyards grow on medium-textured clay soils and are trained to pergola (marquee) and espalier systems. Harvest is normally early.
Grapes
Pecorino, an indigenous variety rediscovered in recent decades. Its name is connected with shepherds who appreciated its sweet bunches during transhumance.
Vinification
Vinification takes place exclusively in steel tanks, preserving an immediately approachable, easy-drinking character.
Technical data
Terre d’Abruzzo IGT. Alcohol: 12.5% vol, with possible variation between vintages. Available format: 3 L bag-in-box. Recommended glass: tulip.
Tasting profile
Medium-intensity straw yellow with delicate golden reflections. The powerful, fragrant nose combines yellow flowers and yellow fruit with herbal nuances of thyme and mint. The palate is notably savoury, balancing depth and freshness throughout.
Serving and pairing
Serve at 8–10°C. Suitable with aperitifs, sushi, shellfish and white-meat dishes.

The bag-in-box line pays tribute to Abruzzo’s shepherding traditions and pasture heritage, which underpin many of the region’s gastronomic products.
