Vineyard and terroir
The red grapes come from the Abruzzo Region, where the vineyards have medium-textured clay soils and use awning and espalier training systems. Harvesting is usually early.
Grapes
Red grapes.
Vinification
The fruit undergoes rapid destemming and crushing, followed by gentle vacuum pressing. Pressing is stopped as soon as the required colour parameters are achieved. The must then ferments at low temperature in stainless-steel tanks. The finished wine is bottled under screw cap.
Technical data
Alcohol: 12.5% vol. Available format: 0.75 L.
Tasting profile
Brilliant, medium-intensity pink. Violet and rose aromas alternate with tart red-berry notes, particularly raspberry and currant. The palate is balanced and shaped by freshness and sapidity, leading into a finish that recalls small red fruits.
Serving and pairing
Serve at 10–12°C in a tulip-shaped glass. Enjoy as an aperitif or with white meats, fish dishes and pizzas with delicate toppings.
Label / history
This modern interpretation of the Abruzzo rosé tradition uses a screw-cap closure. Its Tralcetto presentation features a vine twig collected after annual pruning and tied by hand around the bottle neck, representing the bond between the wine and its territory.
