Questo vino
Vineyard and terroir
The fruit comes from estate vineyards in the provinces of Venice and Treviso. The sites lie at 90–180 m above sea level, mostly with southern exposure, on clay-limestone soils.
Grapes
Pinot Bianco and/or Chardonnay may supplement Glera, together accounting for no more than 15% of the blend.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested at optimal ripeness and fermented in large stainless-steel tanks for 10–12 days at a controlled temperature of 17–18 °C. Second fermentation takes place in sealed autoclaves using the Italian Charmat method. The wine is filtered before bottling for clarity.
Ageing
The sparkling wine remains on the lees for about one month.
Tasting profile
Refreshing, with fruit and floral aromas and a bright, clear appearance.
