About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The grapes are grown in Appiano at 400 m above sea level. The vineyards occupy gentle, south- and south-west-facing slopes with loamy, sandy soils covered by fine gravel.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested in mid-September. They undergo maceration and fermentation in stainless-steel tanks for 15 days at 28 °C, followed by malolactic fermentation.
Ageing
The wine matures for six months in 60 hl oak barrels, followed by two months in bottle before release.
