About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The grapes grow in a vineyard near Vagliagli, on marl soils containing limestone and clay.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested and carefully selected by hand in early October. Fermentation lasts 15–17 days in temperature-controlled stainless-steel tanks at 24–25 °C, with regular pump-overs.
Ageing
The wine matures in large French oak barrels, followed by three months in bottle.
Tasting profile
Elegant and fresh, with mineral character and finesse.
Label / history
Approximately 3,000 bottles are produced each year.
