About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The selected fruit comes from the La Fuga estate, at 400 metres above sea level on the southwestern slope of Montalcino, near the village of Camigliano. The climate is warm, creating a high risk of overripening.
Grapes
The grapes are selected before vinification.
Vinification
Harvest takes place early because of the risk of overripening.
Ageing
The wine matures for 36 months in oak barrels, followed by at least four months in bottle.
