About this wine

Vineyard and terroir

The selected fruit comes from vineyards at the La Fuga estate, 400 m above sea level on the southwestern slope of Montalcino, near Camigliano.

Grapes

The wine is made from a selection of the estate’s grapes.

Vinification

The grapes are harvested by hand at full ripeness in October. Alcoholic fermentation takes place in stainless-steel tanks for 20 days at a controlled temperature of 28 °C.

Ageing

The wine matures for five years in Slavonian oak barrels, followed by 12 months in bottle.
