About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The fruit comes from old vineyards at the Campo al Mare estate near the Bolgheri coast.
Vinification
The grapes are selectively hand-harvested at peak ripeness in several passes during the season and taken directly to the pressing facilities. Maceration lasts 30 days at 28 °C and is followed by a second fermentation.
Ageing
The wine matures for 16–18 months in new and one-year-old 500-litre French oak barrels, followed by six months in bottle before release.

Elegant and complex, with a rich range of aromas, a pleasantly rounded texture and a well-balanced palate.
