Vineyard and terroir
The grapes grow in a hilltop vineyard in Castiglione Falletto. The vines average 60 years of age and are planted in clay-limestone soil.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested only at optimal ripeness and vinified for 15 days at a controlled temperature of 29 °C.
Ageing
The wine matures in barriques for 14 months.
