About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The fruit comes from the Bombolieri vineyard in the Vittoria area, at around 280 metres above sea level. Its soils are limestone, and the vines average 40 years of age. They are cultivated without pesticides, fungicides, herbicides, or chemical or synthetic fertilisers.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand at optimal ripeness and carefully sorted at the winery. Fermentation and 30 days of skin maceration take place in cement tanks.
Ageing
The wine ages for 22 months in large Slavonian oak casks. It is bottled without filtration and matures for a further two months in the winery’s cellars.

“BB” is an abbreviation of Bombolieri, the vineyard where the grapes are grown.
