About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The grapes come from Pettineo, a vineyard in the Vittoria area at approximately 250 m above sea level. Its soils are sandy and rich in limestone, and the vines average 60 years of age. They are cultivated without pesticides, fungicides, herbicides, or chemical or synthetic fertilisers.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand at optimal ripeness and sorted at the winery. Fermentation and skin-contact maceration take place in stainless-steel tanks.
Ageing
The wine rests in large, old oak casks.

“PT” is an abbreviation of “Pettineo,” the vineyard where the grapes are grown.
