About this wine

Grapes

Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc are vinified separately.

Vinification

The two varieties are fermented separately in stainless-steel tanks.

Ageing

The wine rests on its lees for four months, followed by additional bottle ageing before release.

Tasting profile

The 2013 vintage has good concentration and ripeness, with impressive finesse.

Vintage notes

The 2013 growing season was longer and cooler than in previous years, and the harvest continued until the end of October. The crop was smaller but of excellent quality.

Label / history

The wine belongs to the “Coltibuono” selection range. Its name comes from Trappoline, one of the company’s vineyards, which is planted exclusively with white grape varieties.
