Vineyard and terroir
The fruit is grown in Puglia.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand and gently pressed. The resulting must ferments in oak barrels.
Label / history
Each bottle in the Barbanera Since 1938 range bears a heraldic coat of arms. Its helmet represents the wines’ noble character; the hills at its base symbolize strength, stability and wisdom and support a central cypress. Two stylized lilies signify power and sovereignty, while the surrounding elements represent the integrity and eternal life of the Barbanera family.
The wine received a gold medal at the Berliner Wein Trophy in 2012 and silver medals at the same competition in 2013 and 2014.
