Light ruby-red in color, with fine structure and an elegant overall character. Red berries and characteristic spice define the nose. The palate is fresh and rounded, with balanced acidity, a spicy aftertaste and an elegant, persistent finish.

Pair with stews, braised or other slowly cooked meat dishes, or goulash served with polenta.
Label / history
Its finesse, complexity and pale color have led to Schioppettino being described as the “Pinot Noir of Friuli.”
