About this wine

Vinification

The grapes are harvested at optimal ripeness and vinified by the traditional red-wine method in temperature-controlled stainless-steel tanks.

Ageing

The wine matures for 18 months in French tonneaux and large oak casks, followed by several additional months in bottle.

Label / history

Barbera appeared in the Langhe around the turn of the 20th century, shortly after vineyards were replanted following the phylloxera epidemic, and adapted well to the local terroir.
