Tasting profile

Bright yellow, with an exceptionally fine, persistent perlage and creamy, pinpoint bubbles. Mediterranean flowers, citrus, delicate balsamic nuances and sweet spices shape a subtle bouquet, balancing freshness and tension with expressive richness. The palate is poised, gentle and structured, with complexity and fragrance carried by a savoury, mineral vein. Pomelo, white plum, wildflower honey and candied yellow citrus lead into a prolonged finish.

Vintage notes

The winter of 2022 was unusually mild and dry, and the dry conditions continued into spring. Budbreak began at the end of March, slightly later than in the preceding year, while flowering was rapid and concentrated in the second half of May. Limited early-season rainfall helped preserve healthy fruit but placed greater demands on vines growing in shallow soils. From mid-June, summer became markedly hot. Scarce but timely rain on 28 and 29 July restored soil-water balance and supported ripening.

Harvest began early on 8 August. Cooler temperatures helped retain freshness and aromatic finesse, and picking concluded on 24 August. Older, well-balanced vineyards benefited from deeper roots during the driest periods. The resulting wines combined elegance and structure.
