About this wine

Vineyard and terroir

The fruit is grown in the municipality of Capriolo.

Vinification

Primary fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature in stainless-steel tanks and oak barrels. In the following spring, the wine is bottled using the traditional Franciacorta method and undergoes secondary fermentation. No dosage is added.

Ageing

The wine ages in contact with the lees for at least 60 months. After disgorgement, it matures in the cellar for several more months.

Tasting profile

A distinctive bouquet accompanies a harmonious, balanced character.

Serving and pairing

Serve chilled, preferably in a bucket with ice or water.

Label / history

The wine is a portrait of Gualberto Ricci Curbastro, who in 1967 was among the first to believe in the potential of the Franciacorta area and later helped shape the modern history of the winery.
