About this wine

Vineyard and terroir

The grapes come from old vines. Bersano sources 85% of its fruit from its own vineyards and 15% from local growers in Piedmont.

Vinification

The grapes are harvested by hand and vinified in stainless-steel tanks.

Ageing

The wine rests in oak barrels for 6–8 months, followed by three months in bottle.

Tasting profile

Deep ruby with bright garnet highlights. The generous nose combines cherry and redcurrant with tobacco and spice. The palate is refreshing and clearly fruity, with a rich, smooth texture and soft, slightly sweet tannins. The finish is rich and long.
