About this wine
Vinification
The grapes are harvested in late October, followed by extended skin maceration and fermentation.
Ageing
The wine matures for 18–20 months in new, medium-toasted French oak barrels, followed by several more months in bottle in the cellar.

The palate is powerful and well structured.

Akronte is the ancient name of the Caronte stream, which runs near the southern edge of the vineyards.
