About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The grapes come from different estate vineyards. The vines grow on slopes with varying exposures and sandy-clay soils.
Vinification
The Chardonnay is harvested in late August, followed by the Sauvignon Blanc and Verdicchio in early September. All work is performed by hand. After gentle pressing, the must ferments for 12 days in temperature-controlled stainless-steel tanks to retain freshness and bright aromas. The wine is bottled in early spring.
Tasting profile
Elegant and fresh, with bright aromas.
Label / history
Garbi takes its name from the wind that often blows across the Adriatic Sea and fills the sails of the paranza, the traditional local fishing boat depicted on the label.
