About this wine

Vineyard and terroir

The grapes grow on hills within the town of Valdobbiadene, in the Cartizze area. The site has a mild microclimate, plentiful sunshine and mineral-rich soils. Fruit grown here has a rounder, sweeter taste with floral and fruity aromas.

Vinification

The grapes are harvested entirely by hand between 15 and 30 September, once fully ripe, contributing intensity and concentrated aromas and flavours. After gentle pressing, primary fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature with added yeast. Secondary fermentation lasts 25–30 days.

Ageing

The wine ages on its lees for 1–3 months.

Tasting profile

Fresh, balanced and highly aromatic, with a smooth, velvety palate and concentrated aromas and flavours.

Serving and pairing

It may be enjoyed on its own or paired with sweet pastries, fruit pies and buns.
