About this wine

Vineyard and terroir

The grapes come from the "Brea" and "Gianetto" vineyards in Serralunga d'Alba and from "Garblet Sue" in Castiglione Falletto. The vines are around 50 years old on average.

Vinification

The grapes are selected and harvested by hand at optimal ripeness, usually from late September to early October. At the winery they are sorted, destemmed and gently pressed. The must ferments in stainless steel vats for 8–10 days at no more than 28 °C.

Ageing

The wine ages for 15–18 months in steel tanks.
