About this wine

Vineyard and terroir

The fruit comes from a 1.5 ha old vineyard in Castiglione Falletto. The site has mainly sandy soils and a south-eastern exposure.

Vinification

The grapes are harvested by hand and macerated. Fermentation lasts 15–20 days at a controlled temperature of 28 °C.

Ageing

The wine matures in French oak barrels for two years and is bottled without filtration. It requires a further 10–15 years to reach its peak.

Tasting profile

Refined and elegant, with harmonious floral and fruity aromas. The palate is velvety, opening slowly and gradually before filling the mouth and ending in a long, delicate finish.
