About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The grapes are grown in Rai di San Polo di Piave, in the province of Treviso, Veneto. The vineyards are situated at 150 m above sea level on clay soils containing a small proportion of gravel, with a planting density of 2,800 vines per hectare.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand in mid-September and pressed very gently. Malolactic fermentation is prevented, and the bubbles are produced using the extended Charmat method. The finished wine has 85 g/L of residual sugar.
Ageing
The wine is not aged, but rests for one month before release.
