About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The vineyards are 30 m above sea level, with a south-to-north orientation. The soils are clay mixed with sand and gravel.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand in early September. The wine does not undergo malolactic fermentation. It is stabilized and microfiltered before bottling.
Ageing
The wine undergoes no ageing. After bottling, it rests in the winery’s cellars for 60 days before release.
Label / history
The name Ca’di Rajo is also rendered as Ca’di Raja. In ancient usage, Rajo meant Paradise.
