About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The vineyards lie on the sunny side of the Marano di Valpolicella valley, in the heart of Valpolicella Classico. The soils are limestone, at an altitude of 250 m above sea level.
Vinification
The grapes are picked by hand when they reach optimal ripeness. After sorting and gentle pressing, the must ferments at a controlled temperature with 10 days of maceration.
Ageing
The wine ages for 6 months in large oak barrels, followed by 3 months in bottle.
Tasting profile
A juicy, elegant dry red.
Serving and pairing
The producer recommends serving at 16–18 °C.
