About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The fruit comes from Carpineto’s vineyards in Central Tuscany.
Grapes
Selected Sangiovese, Canaiolo and Malvasia Nera grapes are used.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested at optimal ripeness and gently pressed. The must undergoes a brief cold maceration, followed by temperature-controlled fermentation in stainless-steel tanks.
Ageing
The wine rests only briefly and is bottled as early as January.
Tasting profile
Elegant and well structured, with expressive fruit and lively floral notes on both the nose and palate. It is young, light and easy-drinking.
Serving and pairing
Suitable as an aperitif or with appetizers, meat served pink, grilled meats, grilled sausages, spicy dishes, cheeses and fried fish.
