History
Carpineto was founded in 1967 by Giovanni Carlo Sacchet and Antonio Mario Zaccheo. The company developed estates in major Tuscan denominations and is now managed by the founders’ families.
Terroir
Carpineto works vineyards in Chianti Classico, Montepulciano, Montalcino and other Tuscan territories. The Montalcino estate reaches elevations above 500 m.
Winemaking
Vineyard practices are adapted to each estate and denomination.
Production varies by estate and wine and includes stainless steel, small wooden barrels, large casks and bottle maturation.
