About this wine

Vineyard and terroir

The fruit comes from Carpineto’s vineyards in Central Tuscany.

Grapes

The wine is made from selected Sangiovese and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes.

Vinification

The grapes are harvested at optimal ripeness. Because the two varieties ripen at different times, they are vinified separately. After alcoholic fermentation, the wine is transferred to small wooden barrels for malolactic fermentation.

Ageing

The wine spends a short period in small wooden barrels and is bottled between March and April in the year after the harvest.

Tasting profile

Bright and fruity on the nose, with power and depth balanced by elegance and fine harmony.

Label / history

Dogajolo Rosso is known as the “Baby Super Tuscan.”
