About this wine
Vinification
The grapes are gently crushed and held in stainless-steel tanks for several hours. Following cold skin maceration at 8–10 °C, the juice is drained and fermented in stainless-steel vats at approximately 18 °C for 8–10 days.
Tasting profile
Powerful, rich and distinctive, with floral and fruity aromas. Its substantial structure gives it a character closer to a red wine than a typical rosé.
Label / history
The wine takes its name from the settlement of Albiola, mentioned by Pliny the Elder and once inhabited by the ancient Rutuli and Volsci tribes, who were known for their love of freedom.
