About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The grapes are grown in Sicily.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested at optimal ripeness, carefully selected and gently pressed. Fermentation takes place in stainless-steel tanks at a controlled temperature of approximately 14 °C for 15 days.
Ageing
The wine matures on fine lees in stainless-steel tanks for two months before bottling.
Label / history
The range is owner Piergiorgio’s tribute to his grandfather Umberto, who laid the foundations of the business and was known for his large moustache. The red moustache depicted on the labels commemorates Umberto and represents the company’s commitment to quality.
