About this wine

Vineyard and terroir

The grapes come from the company's own vineyards in Puglia, Italy's southernmost and warmest region, also described as its poorest. Its long Mediterranean coastline and plains gradually give way to low mountains. Fresh sea breezes cool the sun-baked limestone soils.

Vinification

The grapes are harvested at optimal ripeness and vinified in the traditional way at a controlled temperature.

Tasting profile

A fragrant dry red with a deep ruby-red colour. Sangiovese gives good acidity and high tannins.

Serving and pairing

Pairs with pizza, pasta and Mediterranean dishes.
