About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The red grapes are grown on the small Fattoria di Travalda estate.
Vinification
The grapes are hand-harvested into small crates and fermented in temperature-controlled stainless-steel tanks. The wine remains in contact with the skins for 20 days, with the must stirred every three days. Malolactic fermentation takes place in new barriques. The wine is bottled without filtration.
Ageing
The wine matures in new barriques for at least 18 months.
