About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The grapes come from the “Le Corti” vineyard. The Burchino estate is in Terricciola and covers 37 hectares, with vineyards on hills in the Chianti area. The soils comprise clay and loose sand with abundant small shell fragments, reflecting the area’s proximity to the sea.
Grapes
The grapes are carefully selected.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand and sorted before fermentation in stainless-steel tanks. Malolactic fermentation takes place in French oak barrels.
Ageing
The wine remains in French oak barrels for 12 months.
