Vineyard and terroir
In Veneto, the vines grow on distinctive limestone soils in a temperate continental climate that supports successful ripening. Conditions in northern Italy are similar to those found in France.
Vinification
The wine is made using traditional methods. Fermentation takes place at low temperature in temperature-controlled tanks, followed by 10 days of skin maceration.
