About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The vineyard lies in the Valley of Lakes, at the foot of the Dolomites and north of Lake Garda. It has a sub-Mediterranean climate, with gentle, dry afternoon breezes and low nighttime temperatures.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested at peak ripeness in early October and gently pressed. Fermentation takes place on the skins in small steel vats at 26–27 °C for 12–14 days.
Ageing
The wine matures in barriques for 15 months, followed by a short period in large oak casks.
