About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
Ceralti’s vineyards are located in Bolgheri and cover approximately 9 hectares. They undergo periodic selection and refinement, and 1 hectare is devoted to experimental winemaking.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand using traditional methods and sorted by the estate team. Whole berries undergo an initial cold maceration, followed by pressing and crushing with the seeds and stems. After brief cold stabilization, the must ferments for 15 days in temperature-controlled steel tanks.
Ageing
The wine rests on its lees for 3 months and then matures in bottle for a further 3 months.
Label / history
The estate has belonged to the historic Italian Ritili family for several generations. It is now managed by Walter and Jacopo, father and son.
