About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
Ceralti’s vineyards in Bolgheri cover approximately 9 hectares and undergo periodic selection. One hectare is reserved for experimental winemaking.
Vinification
The 2009 grapes were harvested and sorted by hand from late September to early October. Fermentation took place at a controlled temperature for 18 days, followed by malolactic fermentation on the lees in oak barrels for 3 months.
Ageing
Ageing continued in bottle for an unspecified period.
Label / history
The Ceralti estate has belonged to the same Italian family for several generations and is now owned by Walter Alfeo and his son Iacopo.
