About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The fruit comes from the estate vineyard at Castello di Monastero in Castelnuovo Berardenga.
Vinification
Harvest takes place from late September to early October. Traditional vinification includes 10–12 days of skin contact.
Ageing
The wine matures for seven months in small oak barrels, followed by four to five months in bottle in the estate’s cellars before release.
