About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The grapes grow on the plains and gentle hills of Friuli within the Trevenezie IGT area. The climate is moderate, with low rainfall and moderate humidity.
Vinification
Harvest begins in late September. The Refosco is collected in special trays and transferred to drying rooms to concentrate its aroma-forming compounds. After destemming, the grapes ferment in temperature-controlled stainless-steel tanks for 15 days.
Ageing
The wine matures in small oak barrels for 12 months.
