About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The grapes come from the company's own vineyards in Veneto. The Alps shelter the region from cold northern winds, and the Adriatic Sea lies to the southeast. The soils are mainly gravelly, clay and sandy clay.
Vinification
Harvest usually takes place in early September, once the grapes reach optimal ripeness. They are destemmed, gently pressed and briefly macerated on the skins for several hours. The juice is then separated from the pulp and fermented in stainless steel tanks at a controlled 15–16 °C.
Ageing
After decanting, the wine rests on its lees for 3 months.
Tasting profile
Elegant, with an appealing copper-tinged colour and a delicate aroma.
