About this wine
Vinification
The grapes are gently destemmed and then macerated for a week at 4 °C, which preserves the wine's freshness and its bright, deep aromas. Fermentation takes place in steel vats to retain the grape's natural varietal character.
Ageing
The wine matures on the lees in steel until spring.
Label / history
Refosco dal Peduncolo Rosso is a native Friulian variety, mentioned as far back as the Roman Empire, when it also acquired its name. Bottling in spring is a Collavini family tradition.
